Subject: RE: make-frame-on-display returns BadAtom error
Date: Thu, 1 Aug 2002 08:43:26 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <AF8759226560A249B2A0E9D103E81D997A2B58@ukcbgx01psge.geips.ge.com> (raw)

I have narrowed this down to only being a problem when the executable is
run from a Solaris 8 box. The executable was build on Solaris 2.6. I also
do not have a problem with make-frame-on-display when I am running the
eecutable from
a Solaris 7 machine. So it seems to be an OS issue rather than a GNU Emacs
bug.
However, if have any additional information on the likely cause or perhaps
an
OS patch for Solaris 8 then please let me know.

Thanks
Andrew Maguire
