Subject: Incomplete specification of narrow-to-region in the Elisp info.
Date: 22 Oct 2003 00:16:01 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <9cb4nb.67.ln@acm.acm> (raw)

Version 2.7 of the Elisp info pages.

On page "Narrowing", the description of "narrow-to-region" fails to state
what is done should POINT initially be outside the specified region.

There seem to be two canditates for the Right Thing: (1): Move POINT to
the nearest region boundary; (2): Signal an error.

Experimentation shows that (1) is done.

I think this should be documented.
