(when 1) evaluates to 1, rather than nil, on latest master. This is
contrary to the documentation, which reads:
When COND yields non-nil, eval BODY forms sequentially and return
value of last one, or nil if there are none.
According to some discussion on IRC (thanks thuna`), this seems to have
