When I try to load dirtrack, emacs gives an error
recipe:
emacs -q
M-: (require 'dirtrack)
Output:
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "Don't know how to make a localized variable an alias")
defvaralias(dirtrackp dirtrack-mode nil)
