And now I forgot why ;( I found the explanation why this is a bad change ;) Because to repeat the last search, users type `C-s C-s', and to repeat the second last search, users type `C-s M-p C-s' but with this change there are two redundant keysequences to repeat the last search, `C-s C-s' and `C-s M-p C-s', and to repeat the second last search, the keysequence is too long `C-s M-p M-p C-s'.
