In my case, I can't see an influence of time but perhaps I haven't tried
hard enough.  I can make Emacs behave correctly, by clicking menu items,
by focusing it using M-TAB, and by resizing.  However, resizing does not
have this effect when Emacs is in fullscreen mode.
