(I'm going through old bug reports that unfortunately weren't resolved
at the time.)

Skimming this thread, Keith reported that the original problem was fixed
by Eli's patches, but then there was an additional question by Keith
answered by Eli, and the bug was then left open.

Is there anything more to do here, or should this report be closed?
