I think for now I'll try soliciting specific questions, perhaps via top-level replies to that bug but with subject headers changed to reflect whatever's being posed (while also Cc-ing various persons where appropriate). And in cases where a question may have broader relevance, I'll hit up help-gnu-emacs first/instead.
