I don't seem to be able to apply this patch. I try
(shell-command-on-region 1476 5478 patch -d /home/micha/software/emacs/ -p1)
(the region is just the patch lines)
and get
| patching file lisp/emacs-lisp/subr-x.el
| patch: **** malformed patch at line 8: (defsubst internal--listify (elt)
Any idea why I am seeing this?
