Nothing that didn't use to work... I have tried with plain ./configure.
The last successful build I did was April 8.
The Arch config line is:
ac_cv_lib_gif_EGifPutExtensionLast=yes ./configure --prefix=/usr \
--sysconfdir=/etc --libexecdir=/usr/lib --localstatedir=/var \
--with-x-toolkit=gtk3 --with-xft
