Subject: emacs crashes daily inside of gnus
Date: Fri, 16 Apr 2004 14:40:17 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87brlrg41a.fsf@r64h49.res.gatech.edu> (raw)
X protocol error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) on protocol
request 18
[49]+ Exit 70 emacs
I'm not sure how to interpret this.... An explanation of this error is
all I'm really looking for. A lot of the time it's when I press the
'g' button to get new news/mail and it everything has to block until
it gets the data. It will like sit for a minute, and then I come back
to the desktop hoping emacs is responsive (why can't it just use
another thread?) and it's not there or something like that.
