Subject: bug#9331: local variables question causes persistent mouse pointer clock wait symbol
Date: Fri, 19 Aug 2011 19:34:06 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87bovld49d.fsf@jidanni.org> (raw)
Gentlemen,
$ cat x
;-*- Mode: Emacs-Lisp -*-
$ emacs -Q x
The local variables list in x
contains values that may not be safe (*).
...
Please type y, n, or !, or C-v to scroll: y
At this point observe,
1. The question is still left sitting in the minibuffer, even though we
answered it.
2. The X pointer, (if over the file), is a clock wait symbol, not the
usual pointer. ... until one hits C-g.
