Though, oddly, I've got: girzel@git.sv.gnu.org:/srv/git/emacs.git For my "member" remote, and that works fine. The two domain names seem to point to the same server. Maybe it was the non-TLS url? You'll need to be a member to push a branch, anyway. Eric
