* find-grep-dired and the "s" key: everything disappears

I did (find-grep-dired "/tmp/" "a") then I did "s" which is supposed
to sort dired buffers by date.  Well, as usual with emacs bugs, (most)
everything disappears and the user is at a loss for words.

Why don't you put a child-guard-cap on the "s" key in this situation
in lieu of real remedies.  The "g" key is no help here too.
