Hello,
The Info.plist file for Mac OS X is not a valid XML document. The file
is in the source code here:
nextstep/templates/Info.plist.in
Running xmllint on it gives the following error:
$ xmllint -valid -noout nextstep/templates/Info.plist.in
nextstep/templates/Info.plist.in:20: parser error : XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
^
Luckily, this is an easy fix:
=== modified file 'nextstep/templates/Info.plist.in'
--- nextstep/templates/Info.plist.in 2014-01-01 07:43:34 +0000

After this change xmllint is happy:
$ xmllint -valid -noout nextstep/templates/Info.plist.in
$
