In the X11 GTK version of Emacs, I am able to start a graphical Emacs daemon, and subsequently create new graphical frames with emacsclient -c <FILE>. But in the PGTK version it will only create TUI frames, and will also create a GTK popup box warning about using PGTK on X11.

Thanks.
Po Lu, are we aware of this issue with PGTK builds?
Or is this another manifestation of the DISPLAY/WAYLAND_DISPLAY issue?
