Fine for me - in principle. Note the word "confusing" in my bug report title. How long do you think would a average user (not every programmer knows the internals of eieio) derive from the warning Warning: `buffer-note' is an obsolete variable (as of 25.1); use 'buffer-note that emacs wants him to add a file local binding eieio-backward-compatibility -> nil?
