In dired, I noticed hitting v (dired-view-file) on big files takes
much longer than little files.
What's the big deal, I just want to see a couple of screens from the
beginning of the file.
Now you've got me scared, now I only dare to do ! head -222
I know, it must be looking for "local variables" or "one illegal
character from the default set", megabytes deep in the file.
