If Openbox does not support the hint, then it is not a ``standard window
manager'', as far as virtual desktops are concerned.

The manual already says:

‘sticky’
     If non-‘nil’, the frame is visible on all virtual desktops on
     systems with virtual desktops.
     ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
