I might miss a message sometimes, that doesn't seem critical. Buffers
are not usually reverted many at once, and if they do, and I am actually
interested in them all, that it the actual time to go to *Messages*. But
such cases are infrequent.

I don't like is seeing "Omitted X lines" from an unknown buffer.
