If q67 is present somewhere in the buffer, it will offer to replace,
and if you type SPC, it will replace (and move to the next match, if
any). If there's no q67 in the buffer, it will immediately say
"Replaced 0 occurrences" and replace nothing.

Probably because there's no match for "q67" in the buffer.
