Hello,
The subject says it all: it'd be very nice to fontify the functions,
vars and strings in the backtrace as any ELisp code, to ease its
reading.

Belated thanks for your suggestion. I've just pushed changes to Emacs
master to fontify backtraces using Emacs Lisp mode fontification.
