Please try the latest native-comp branch. >From commit 15aa239ba058ef02544e5dfaf066bd985d9b2f4f I tried building for for i686-w64-mingw32 using "--with-wide-int" and no longer see the abort dialogs (after a few tests with 4 async compiles running), so I think this is fixed.
