* bug#16244: 24.3.50; eww does not show SVG images in HTML files

Steps to reproduce:

  emacs -Q
  M-x eww RET
  http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/WG/wiki/Test_Suite_Overview RET
Go down to the link saying "* HTML using <object>", hit RET
In the page that is displayed, hit RET on any link

Result: you are presented with a page where a PNG image is displayed
correctly, while an SVG image near it is not displayed; instead its
file name is shown.

This is in Emacs compiled with librsvg support, and visiting that SVG
file with "C-x C-f" displays the SVG image correctly.

Hm. Looking at the source code, this is stuff like:

<object data="../../svg/animate-dom-01-f.svg" width="480" height="360" type="image/svg+xml"><p style="font-size:300%;color:red">FAIL</p></object>

Adding support for this would be pretty simple, I think (just treat this
like an <img> tag, more or less), but is this a bug fix or a new
feature? >"? If it's a bug, I can whip up a fix...

Yes, something like that. I understand this is an embedded object.

Well, this is a bug report, no?

I'm saying that if one image is displayed while another isn't, it's a
bug.

HTML is an ever-expanding standard, and adding support for new HTML
features is adding support for new HTML features.

Stefan, your call.

I see this is still waiting for Stefan's attention, but meanwhile I could
point out that the "object" tag has been in HTML for a very long time (at
least since HTML 2.0), so it's not a new feature. Lars is right though that
for images it's pretty similar to an img tag.
