These functions are advertised to take an argument in the info system , but
on the the MS-Windows version trying to causes an error. I would like to
scroll a specified number of characters to the left or right.
My version of Emacs is "GNU EMACS 21.2.1 (i386-msvc-windows98.2222) of
2002-03-19 on buffy"
