FYI, I downloaded yesterday the version Dani pointed me to:

    GNU Emacs 24.2.90.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) of 2012-12-07 on MS-W7-DANI

I've used it the whole day, with only one little problem (well known,
addressed in another bug), that is:

Emacs freezing when es.exe (Everything) becomes suspended.
Upon killing of es.exe, Emacs comes back to life as if nothing happened.

This is the only trouble I have so far, and, for the rest, I'm quite confident
about the overall good (I mean: excellent) quality of that version.

Best regards,
Fabrice
