(When will there be a Windows pretest binary?) In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) of 2011-09-19 on 3249CTO Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600 configured using `configure --with-gcc (4.5) --no-opt' Is this a bug? There are lots of entries in `ucs-names' that have "" as the car. Shouldn't these be filtered out? If not, what is their significance (and use)? The doc is very lightweight: "Alist of cached (CHAR-NAME . CHAR-CODE) pairs.", for the var, and "Return alist of (CHAR-NAME . CHAR-CODE) pairs cached in `ucs-names', for the function. How can "" be a CHAR-NAME, i.e., the name of any character? Please fix this, if a code bug, or document what this is about, if a doc bug.
