It could just as well be the source of a memory copy to = its runtime location; everything would then work just like today except = that the dump file is embedded into the executable. Basically, regenerating the dump file means relinking the executable and = that's it, no mucking about with executables required. It is easy to = write a portable solution that works everywhere.
