Yes, we do want to fix this bug (in Company). But I meant something different: if the display engine worked consistently between step 6 and step 9, the bug would've been easier to reproduce, and might have already been fixed at this point. Maybe I would've already noticed it myself (instead of waiting for a user to report it), and it could have influenced the choice of the popup rendering strategy.
