This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.
Your report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list
and the gnu.emacs.bug news group, and at http://debbugs.gnu.org.
Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug. If you can, give
a recipe starting from `emacs -Q':
I checked on virustotal: 8 out of 43 say the file has a problem. This is
not a lot: either the problem is relatively new or it isn't a
problem. But in combination with the size change, I thought I should
mention it.
Albert.
If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
`bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
For information about debugging Emacs, please read the file

I will check this out on my system. Thanks for the report.

This turned out to be a false alarm caused by a certain MinGW gcc
compiler version used to compile the binaries. I recompiled the binaries
with gcc 4.4.0 and the scanner does not alert anymore.
The new binaries will be uploaded to the ftp site in the near future.
I am closing this report.

Ahem, no: this was caused by overly general patterns in the
virus scanner. MinGW gcc had nothing to do with it.
