It's also called a Soft Return. If you are typing out text in Pages, = the return key starts a new paragraph. But typing shift-return starts a = new line without starting a new paragraph. The classic case is typing a = postal address; you want to start new lines without creating new = paragraphs. =20 If you select a region that includes a soft return, Pages displays it as = a little blue return arrow icon.=20 Checking...
