Subject: bug#5589: 23.1.90; wdired fails with dired ls -1
Date: Wed, 17 Feb 2010 18:23:57 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4B7C262D.5050604@online.de> (raw)

emacs -q

dired with option `ls -1'

wdired-change-to-wdired-mode
reports error:

wdired-preprocess-symlinks: Search failed: " -> \\(.*\\)$"

Mode-line displays "(Editable Dired...)"
but when I start editing, it's refused saying:

call-interactively: Text is read-only

Thanks all

Andreas
