Just for completeness...

Sincerely I do not know if I prefer that... I never set that! but on 
K804 I find:

$ xrdb -query | grep Xft
Xft.antialias:  1
Xft.dpi:        96
Xft.hinting:    1
Xft.hintstyle:  hintfull
Xft.rgba:       none


Instead on K910, that command return anything,

$ xrdb -query | grep Xft
<empty>
