These are the steps I've done:

1. rm -rf emacs

2. cvs -z3 -d:ext:viniciusjl@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/sources/emacs co emacs

3. ./configure --prefix=/home/download/emacs

4. make bootstrap

5. make install

6. rm -f ~/.Xresources

7. emacs -Q



If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,

    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
