emacs cvs make bootstrap error!

Hello all,

after successfully configured, the make bootstrap output following error.


make[2]: Entering directory `F:/soft/emacs/leim'
"./../src/oo-spd/i386/emacs.exe" -batch --no-init-file --no-site-file
--multibyte -f batch-byte-compile quail/lao.el

Loading f:/soft/emacs/lisp/international/uni-name.el (source)...

In toplevel form:

make[2]: *** [quail/lao.elc] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `F:/soft/emacs/leim'
make[1]: *** [all-other-dirs-gmake] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `F:/soft/emacs/nt'
make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2

the code was built under minGW on window2000 system.


any information about this error is appreciated. thanks!

You shouldn't need to bootstrap a released version of Emacs, whichever 
version that is (your mail does not say).

If this is with a CVS emacs and not a tarball, please try checking out
the lisp/international/uni-*.el files with -kb:

 C:\my\emacs\lisp\international> cvs update -kb uni-*.el

and try again. If that helps, I recommend reading nt/INSTALL (the -kb
issue is mentioned in section "Preliminaries"). (Well, to be fair, if
that does not help I'd still recommend reading nt/INSTALL.)
