Subject: GNU Emacs 21.2 (i686-pc-cygwin, X toolkit)
Date: Fri, 08 Nov 2002 19:40:23 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3DCC83A7.30900@covad.net> (raw)
My platform:
I'm running CYGWIN_NT-5.1 1.3.15(0.65/3/2) on top of XP with all patches
current as of today. I downloaded the cygwin environment from cygnus
today and also have PRC-tools installed. I installed everything from
binaries using the setup utility http://cygwin.com/setup.exe.
The problem:
When i try to exit Emacs using the keyboard command, C-x C-c, it doesn't
exit. The word "Quit" flashes in the lower left corner of the window
and my pc emits a dull beep from the internal speaker. I am able to
successfully use other keyboard commands such as the saving the buffer
to a file. I am able to exit normally via the menu keys.
