  => 0
  (string-match (string-to-multibyte "\x80") "\x80")
  => nil

  (string-match (string-to-multibyte "[\x80]") (string-to-multibyte "\x80"))
  => nil
  (string-match (string-to-multibyte "[\x80]") "\x80")
  => 0
