Subject: eval-last-sexp

Message-ID: <200708081719.l78HJLf0028202@winooski.ccs.neu.edu> (raw)
The extra output in the echo area (octal/hex versions of a number) is
not useful when output goes into the buffer. It would be better if
`eval-last-sexp-print-value' used this:
(let ((str (and (eq standard-output t)
(eval-expression-print-format value))))
(when str (princ str)))
