Hello Richard,
I am now working on the DESTDIR support patch for GNU
emacs.
Since I am applying changes to Makefile.in in all
subdirectories, is it enough to put a ChangeLog entry
in the top_srcdir saying
Makefile.in: (all subdirs) blah blah ?
It seems to me more like a global info, and putting
identical info in all subdirs could be redundant. Is
it ok?
I would also ask the liberty, since I am already
changing all the Makefile.ins, to change the current
mixed usage of ${VARIABLE} and $(VARIABLE) with a
consistent $(VARIABLE). Can I throw this change in?
Thanks,
CLaudio
