Message-ID: <200501211638.j0LGcpjP017941@albert.cse.tek.com> (raw)

This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I use the mini-buffer completion mode quite a lot. For the most part it seems
to work just fine.

However, at time, it seems to completely complete at times when there are
ambiguous entries.

I also have the case-ignore variable set to ignore character case.

Usually it is when I am in RMAIL an outputting a message to a folder. I will
do something like this

o output to folder
all<tab> finds ALLMAIL
new<tab> finds NEWJOB
bo<tab>

At this point it would pick the folder bob automatically. This ignorged the
fact that there was a "borg" folder. If I delete back to "bo" then hit <tab>
it will show both selections as I originally expected.

Let me know if you need my .emacs file
