Hello,
Font-lock mode no longer dynamically highlights text after a call to (highlight-regexp). Others have confirmed seeing the same thing, so it's likely not just my environment. I'm not sure whether this is a hi-lock bug (possibly due to it only calling font-lock-add-keywords) or a font-lock bug.
Lossage after recreating the problem:
C-f t m p RET
a <return> o <return> e <return> C-x w l o RET RET
o <return> e <return> o <return>
The last o's aren't highlighted yellow.
platform:
Windows XP
version:
GNU Emacs 21.3.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2004-12-23 on FARIBA
