Message-ID: <200306160009.58800.pogonyshev@gmx.net> (raw)
GNU Emacs 21.3.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars) of 2003-06-15 on localhost.localdomain
It would be nice if <S-backspace> was bound to the same function as <backspace>.
When i type in all upper-case letters (e.g. some macro name) i often press
<S-backspace> to fix a typo, not <backspace>. I think it would be a sane default
binding.
I can bind that globally, but i'm unsure how to make that for incremental search
mode. I assume it would involve isearch-mode-hook ?
regards,
Paul Pogonyshev
