Subject: diff-mode bug
Date: Sat, 16 Nov 2002 20:53:17 +0530 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20021116205317.3ffbe342.shahamit@gmx.net> (raw)
In GNU Emacs 21.2.1 (i386-debian-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2002-03-22 on raven, modified by Debian
configured using `configure i386-debian-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr
--sharedstatedir=/var/lib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --localstatedir=/var/lib
--infodir=/usr/share/info --mandir=/usr/share/man --with-pop=yes --with-x=yes
--with-x-toolkit=athena --without-gif' Important settings:

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
in the 'diff-mode', pressing 'R' should convert:
--- xxx
+++ yyy
to
--- yyy
+++ xxx
but this only works for the 1st hunk.
The other hunks are marked as
-++
+--
or
--+
+--
or some other patterns. It is not a fixed pattern...
I produced the diff file by the 'cvs diff -u' command, and
removed the RCS: lines.
