This kind of problem can only be debugged on the platform where it
happens.
Based on my experience, I think the only method that stands a good
chance of working is to run it under GDB and study the causes of the
crash. You need to be ready to really understand the code and figure
out where it does something different from what it is supposed to do.
The file etc/DEBUG may be of some help.
