Open a file, a couple of hundred lines long. Go to the bottom of the file. Select a point in the file with the mouse and drag your mouse upward until emacs has scrolled a few times. Drag the mouse downward until emacs scrolled at least once. Drag the mouse upward again. Emacs will suddenly jump to the bottom of the buffer. I experienced this bug, running "emacs -q --no-site-file" on intel running GNU/linux alpha running OSF Sun running SunOS 5.8 HP running HP-UX 11.0 SGI running IRIX 6.5 Maarten Recent input: M-x r e p o r t - e m a c v s s b - b u Recent messages: (emacs -q --no-site-file) Loading disp-table...done Loading tool-bar...done Loading image...done Loading tooltip...done For information about the GNU Project and its goals, type C-h C-p.
