Subject: problem using click-and-drag to select region when dragging toward top
Date: Wed, 17 Jul 2002 14:10:34 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200207171410.34235.spn@ucdavis.edu> (raw)
This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.
Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.
In GNU Emacs 21.2.1 (i386-redhat-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
Load file; triple-click to select a line; drag down and force the buffer to
page down; drag up; when the cursor gets to the top of the window,
point jumps to end of buffer!
Although this doesn't happen all the time, it happens most of the time.
Generally, down-then-up dragging seems to cause weird behavior
some of the time.
