The man page for emacs doesn't mention that the +n option (to start up at a certain line of a file) apparently only applies to the very next file listed.

For example, if I say

   emacs +10 foo bar

the cursor shows up in bar, at line 1 not 10. But if I say

   emacs +10 foo +10 bar

then the cursor does show up at line 10 of file bar. Seems like the right behavior, but it seems to me the man page should mention this under +n.

Also, the man (at least the version here page points to bug-gnu-emacs@prep.ai.mit.edu.

This is emacs 21.2.4, btw.

Thanks!
