Subject: bug#19648: Emacs 24.4.1 stops displaying text

Emacs 24.4.1 eventually stops displaying text after some time.

I had the same problem with previous Emacs versions and I'm not sure
what the actual source of problem is. I believe the problem appears more
probable if I use term mode for some time.

I can't reliably reproduce this behaviour other than just using my
session until the text becomes invisible.

I run emacs on X and this behaviour affects all buffers, not just my
term session. This problem occurs also without any customisations
loaded.

See the attached image for a better illustration of what I mean, any
ideas?
