Subject: bug#15678: [PATCH] compile.el: support GNU Make-4.0 directory quoting
Date: Mon, 21 Oct 2013 21:04:00 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1382407440-29535-1-git-send-email-jed@59A2.org> (raw)
GNU Make commit 23c2b99e9d23e726 is part of make-4.0:
Convert all "`'" quotes to "''" per new GNU Coding Standard guidelines.
This changes the output from
make: Entering directory `/path/to/src'
to
make: Entering directory '/path/to/src'
This patch teaches compile.el about the latter.
