Subject: emacs21 and emacs22 segfault on GNU/Hurd
Date: Thu, 19 Jan 2006 01:30:41 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1137630641.995630.7344.nullmailer@totoz-linux.gnu-rox.org> (raw)
Hello,
I am trying to use GNU Emacs (either 21.4 and 22.0.50) on GNU but it fails
whenever it is launched into X.
If I pass -nw switch, no problem, it works.
If I do not add -nw, it enters (or seem to do so) into an infinite loop and
never shows up. I always have to kill the process id.
Running it under gdb didn't give more informations but running it into a xterm
leads to a segfault.
I really do not know how I can investigate this failure.
Do you have hints to help me investigate a little more ?
Thank you.
Xavier
